High Magnetic Field Influence on the WidmanstÄatten Transformation in High Purity Fe-0.36 wt% C Alloy

The influence of high magnetic field with different strength on the proeutectoid ferrite transformation in high purity Fe-0.36 wt% C during diffusional γ→α phase transformation was studied. It was found that the formation of acicular ferrite (i.e. Widmanstatten ferrite) was obviously suppressed by the applied high magnetic field. The stronger the magnetic field is, the more the ferrite grains elongating and aligning along the field direction will be. This is attributed to additional driving force for phase transformation and demagnetization effect introduced by the applied magnetic field. This is also considered to be related to the preferential growth of proeutectoid ferrite nuclei along field direction caused by magnetic dipolar interaction.

强磁场对Al-2.89%Fe合金凝固组织的影响

考察了冷却速率、磁场强度及高梯度磁场对Al-2.89%Fe(质量分数)过共晶合金中Al3Fe 相形貌及分布规律的影响. 结果表明, 在无磁场条件下, 初生Al3Fe相沉积在试样下部; 施加12 T强磁场后, 初生Al3Fe相所受磁力作用和重力作用相平衡, 在整个试样中均匀分布, 且沿着易磁化方向[121]发生定向排列, 其取向程度不受冷却速率的影响, 但随着磁场强度的增大而加强; 在高梯度磁场中, 初生Al3Fe相所受磁力作用大于重力作用而偏聚在试样的上部, 且多个针状初生Al3Fe相结合在一起, 形成近似星状聚合体. 此外, 对强磁场的作用机理进行了分析和探讨.

Effects of High Magnetic Field on Solidification and Corrosion Behaviors of Magnesium Alloy

The solidification behaviors of AZ61 magnesium alloy under a high magnetic field were studied. The corrosion property of AZ61 alloy was investigated in a solution of 3.5 mol/L NaCl by measuring electrochemical polarization. The results show that the high magnetic field can refine microstructure and benefit aluminum transfer. The crystal of α-Mg is induced to orient with their c-axis parallel to the magnetic field. The corrosion studies indicate that different crystal plane of magnesium has different corrosion property. The passivating films on the a- and b-planes have higher corrosion resistance than that on the c-plane. Aligned structure affects the corrosion property of AZ61 magnesium alloy.

强磁场下Fe-49%Sn偏晶合金凝固组织及磁性能

研究了强磁场对Fe-49%Sn(质量分数)偏晶合金凝固组织演变及磁性能的影响. 结果表明: 施加强磁场可以显著改变富Fe相枝晶形貌, 进而改善材料的磁性能.在无磁场作用下富Fe相为无方向性的枝晶及网状组织形貌; 随磁感应强度增加, 富Fe相沿平行磁场方向定向排列程度增加, α-Fe的(110)晶面衍射强度增强. 分析认为, 这是由于强磁场诱使晶体磁各向异性能增加, 使得α-Fe枝晶择优取向作用增强. 根据样品磁滞回线计算的磁各向异性能结果与理论分析一致. 另外, XRD分析表明, 有、无强磁场作用下凝固样品的物相均不变, 都由α-Fe, β-Sn,FeSn及FeSn2组成.

强磁场下电磁振荡对 Al--4.5%Cu合金凝固组织的影响

本文进行了强静磁场下电磁振荡对Al-4.5%Cu合金凝固组织影响的研究,发现同时施加静磁场和交变电流后,初生-Al相由粗大的树枝晶转变成细小的球状晶,晶粒的细化程度随电流的增大而增加,随磁场增加先增加后略有降低。X射线衍射结果表明,施加磁场后,晶粒的<111>晶向沿磁场方向取向。晶粒取向度随晶粒的增大而降低。从球形颗粒旋转取向和颗粒迁移角度推导了晶体粒径和取向的关系。

强磁场下电容温度计的磁效应研究

在温度低至0.3K,磁场强度最高达到20T的条件下,对微晶玻璃电容温度计(Lakeshore CS-501GR)的电容值随磁场变化行为进行了测量.研究发现电容温度计的电容值随着磁场变化表现出一个非单调的磁场依赖关系,而且在温度越低的情况下,这种依赖关系越明显;显然,对于一个需要高灵敏度的温度计来说,这个明显的磁场效应在低温情况下是不能忽视的.
